Lovely Professional Univ LPUNEST 2020 for BTech, Round 1 Test Dates overlap UCEED and JEE Mains

Lovely Professional University, Punjab, conducts two rounds of admissions for its BTech and related Integrated Programs and has started accepting applications for its entrance and scholarship test LPUNEST 2020.

Exam date clash : The examination dates for LPUNEST Round 1 overlap those of UCEED (conducted by IIT Mumbai for BDesign course) and JEE-Mains.

Courses offered : B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons), 5 year integrated B.Tech + M.Tech / B.Tech + MBA, 6 year Dual Degree B.Tech + M.Tech / B.Tech + MBA

Eligibility

(a) Nationality : Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST for BTech

(b) Qualifying exam : Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (B.Tech.) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2020, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

(c) Qualifying subjects and marks

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST
* For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering), subjects considered are Physics, Chemistry, English & either Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above.
* For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) and  B.Tech. (CHE - Petroleum), Subjects considered are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other things remaining same as above.
